Selling chest glitch

There are items inside my selling chests, but when people try to buy from them it says the chest is out of stock. I have to break the shop sign and place it again to make the item show as stocked. It has happened specifically on chests selling elytras, written books, pink dye, and sheep spawners. It only started happening recently. Any idea how to fix it?

How many items are you selling a piece, so say You are selling a pink dye for $5 for 32 and you only got 20 left in the chest, The shop won't sell to the player until the shop has the exact amount that it can sell to the player.

No, it's definitely happening in chests that are correctly stocked.

The plugin is really terrible since the 1.13 update. We're most likely going to opt for another one once we update to 1.14
