Wolves teleport even when in minecart

Im making a farm using wolves to kill skeletons (I put them in minecarts so they don't teleport) but when I teleport to get items they also teleport with me, I tested this in a singleplayer world and the wolves would teleport to me

Try another way to keep them there? Idk man
