A simple item - A readable book with a random news article in the content, but with Bane of Arthropods X attached to it.
Also can have a high Sharpness enchant, which when coupled with it's higher attack recharge speed it can make for a pretty competitive weapon
Might make a nice item for those late summer/early autumn days when the spiders are at their most active :3
