Marketplace and Pressure plates

I was wanting to see if anyone knew anything about this issue. As far as I am aware, claims allow people to activate pressure plates even if they are not trusted. So what about market plots? I have a redstone piston door and door chime on my shop and noone can activate it with the pressure plate. Is this a bug or is this intentional? I use pressure plates on my public areas on my other claims and trust noone and they can use it just fine. If anyone has any advice (other than saying get rid of the door), please let me know. Thanks

It's probably intentional, plots are different to other claims in different shapes or forms. I believe you can't even open doors or trapdoors on plots...
