insta smelt bug

hello I was going in my mine and found some iron when I mined it with my Hawaiian pickaxe (with insta smelt ) it didn't give me cash for mining the iron I tried different things and coal seemed to work just fine but that doest use the insta smelt feature has any one else notice this?

Yup, it's always been like this for ores where the auto smelt does its magic. Unfortunately there's no way to fix this sorry
