Why is the mod who dishes a punishment also the same one who can accept or deny the appeal for the player who is subject to said punishment? It seems like that allows for a single staff member to validate their own actions. Doesn't sit well with me.

Hello whitebeard1! The reason we do this is because the staff member that punishes a player has the most information about the case, so this would be easier on you and us.

That is completely stupid. There are triggerhappy mods who even say they have video proof but dont hand it out to the banned player.
