Since 1.13 will allow custom crafting and custom weapons perhaps an event could be created around this idea.
How about an event where the players could create concepts for new items introduced to the server.
Pixel art; Concept Art; in-game pixel art; you name it. Bonus points if a lore or crafting guide accompanies the concept.
